Plastic Tide - Science Week - 13th March 2018

For the British Science Week lesson yesterday, we took part in the Plastic Tide project where we helped scientists to train drones programmed with algorithms to spot plastic litter on British beaches. The drones then alert the collector volunteers who clear up the area. Anyone can take part in the project, visit https://www.zooniverse.org/projects/theplastictide/the-plastic-tide
