A Suffragette in School
The children in class 2 have welcomed a time travellor!
Annie Wild travelled in Dr Who's tardis, forward in time to 2013 and ended up in our classroom. Annie was a suffragette who lived in Nelson in the 1920's. She joined thousands of other women to persuade the Government to change the law and make life fair for women. Annie Wild was brave and strong. She helped to change the world. We asked her lots of questions which she answered then she sang us a song before leaving us to head back in time.
