Leeds Art Gallery

Class 2 took part in the 'Take One Picture' project at Leeds Art Gallery.  The children have been learning all about Special Places and visited a Mosque, an art gallery and today they studied the painting 'Winter Palace'.  We also had time to explore the main gallery before heading back to a practical workshop. 
In the workshop the children were placed in groups and tasked with building their oen special place.  The work required cooperation and teamwork to create a fabulous den.  We got time to spend in our special place and reflect upon how it made us feel.
