Can we change the shape of materials?

The children investigated various materials.  They spent the afternoon stretching, bending, twisting and squashing objects to see if they could alter the shape of the materials.
The afternoon ended with squashing a tomato and shooting tomato juice and pips all over Mrs Buckley!
