A special assembly with author Harry Heape

Old Town were delighted to welcome local author Harry Heape to school on Wednesday 26th January for a very special 'shiny' assembly all about his novel "Shiny Pippin and the Broken Forest". We particularly  enjoyed seeing the backpack full of 'useful things' given to Pippin by her Granny to help her with her mission, and hearing from Harry all about the local inspiration for the story.

Thank you very much to Harry for taking time to visit our school and inspire our children.
