Dear families
Usually, at the end of the school year, we celebrate 100% attendance in school. I have always said that 100% attendance requires a dose of good luck as well as resilience and determination however, the point of the exercise is really to highlight the very real correlation between progress and attendance in school. The result of research is clear – the more you attend, the better your outcomes. With that in mind, you can see why I try to promote good attendance and punctuality in school.
So, I would like to say a huge well done to all of these children who were on track to have 100% attendance when the school closed to the majority of pupils back in March.
