Craig Whittaker MP Visit November 2012
Last half term, Class 4 did some topic work on rules and laws. They found out how laws in our country are made and learned about how we elect Members of Parliament. The class wrote to their MP, Craig Whittaker, who responded to say he would come in to answer some of their questions. On Thursday 15th November, we had a very interesting question and answer session where pupils posed such diverse questions as ‘What do you think about capital punishment?’ to ‘How is our government helping the poor?’. It was a very interesting afternoon!
