Dear families,

 

Scout Road have sent us the Christmas Dinner Menu, which will be served on Wednesday 17th December.

 

Menu:

  • Roast Turkey and Sausage, or Vegan Roast
  • Carrots, Peas, and Sprouts
  • Roast Potatoes
  • Dessert options: Christmas Buns, Arctic Roll, or Christmas Pudding

 

If your child has a dinner every day, we will order as normal for them – no need to respond here unless your child would like the vegan option.

 

For children who do not have a dinner and you wish to order, please email back or pop into the office to order, either meat or vegan option for them. Scout Road would like numbers by next Wednesday so please respond by Tuesday 25th November.

Please be aware that we have children with nut allergies in school so request that no nuts are sent into school with packed lunches. Thank you for your cooperation.

 

Our school dinners are made and delivered by Scout Road Academy.

 

Scout Road Academy are part of Fare Share, so where possible they are trying to incorporate any extra food into our lunches that is available to them so that it doesn’t go to waste.  Therefore, the lunches you receive may have unexpected items that are not on the menu.  This is extra food Scout Road receive through Fare Share and they share it out with all schools.

 

Menus may be subject to change at short notice due to produce availability.

 

Scout Road are a Sugar Smart School and all their recipes are made with reduced sugar.

All their meat is Red Tractor assured and where possible is locally sourced.
