It is essential that by the end of Year 4 children have instant recall of multiplication and division facts up to 12x12. Much of the Upper Key Stage 2 maths curriculum becomes inaccessible to pupils if they are still struggling to recall times table facts. Little and often is the best way to keep times table knowledge sharp – so please encourage your child to practise regularly even if they know them! Times Table Rock Stars (TTRS) is the best and most fun way to do this!
