It's been a busy time for our school choir having attended their second Sunday Church service this half term. They are in great demand locally for their harvest repertoire. It has been lovely to accept the invitations and show off our fabulous talent to the local community.
With thanks to Marion Pollard, Wainsgate Chapel and Hebden Bridge Methodists and of course our soloist Amelie Dalby.
Below is an email received from a church member complimenting our choir following their recent performance:
I just wanted to say how wonderful your school choir was today at our church. It takes a lot of courage to get up like that and sing in a room full of people you don't know, not to mention the bravery of those amazing girls who did solos in the first song! They were all really impressive.
And as well as that, they were well behaved throughout and a real credit to themselves and your school.
I hope we see them and their friends in the choir on other occasions; they added something really special to our worship this morning.
Thank you to them, and their teacher.
